Momentum?

Some of my favourite definitions of the concept momentum are the following:

1. A moment when it seems important to push through or take action
2. A period of visible change of direction
3. The social dynamics around a decisive moment indicating the point that can tip the balance
4. A  brief threshold moment of instability that can be related to a shift in a social, governmental or political development

All of these are in some way applicable to what I offer.
